About the Fellowship
The Samta Satyagrah Fellowship is a landmark initiative launched to mark the centenary of the Mahad Satyagraha (1927–2027)—a historic civil rights movement led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar that challenged caste-based discrimination and asserted the Right to equality.
This two-year full-time grassroots fellowship aims to identify, train, and empower ground-level leaders committed to social justice, constitutional values, and Ambedkarite ideology. Fellows will be immersed in field-based leadership roles, fostering democratic dialogue, equity-based governance, and inclusive development.
