Saurabh Verma is Founder of an Indian based Nonprofit organization – Paridhi Foundation. He is a Graduate with his Post Graduation in Political Science from Department of Political Science, University of Delhi. Belonging to a small village in Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, he was able to trace the gaps (social, economical, institutional, patriarchal and others) in day to day in rural life. As his great grandfather was a freedom fighter and his father is also actively involved in different social activities, he was also concerned about the problems of grassroots level since his early days. He got his primary education from his home district. Having a dream to contribute towards the society, he worked as PWD Coordinator in National Service Scheme (NSS) for 2 years in college where worked for PWD people and in slum areas. In NSS he with the team worked for generating different opportunities for slum people for their livelihood and economic development. He was a member of Geo-Crusaders, Environmental society of college for 2 years where worked for different initiatives related to environment and experienced the concepts of sustainable development. He also worked for a NGO Reliable Helping Hands for one year where worked on educating slum children and giving free lessons in government schools as well as many other social and welfare activities.

As a Founder he firmly believes, having an aim of ‘Of the people, By the people, For the people’, Paridhi Foundation with it’s vision will contribute in it’s full capacity on developing social consciousness, collective actions and responsibilities among individuals to promote social change and development at the grass root level, social cohesion, livelihood and empowerment of individuals and social justice. Which will lead us towards a healthy sustainable ecosystem.
